protection policy
CHILDISH
The prevention of violence against children and adolescents (hereinafter NNA) is essential for them to exercise their rights, development and well-being. For this reason, the Committee of Relatives of Disappeared Migrants of El Progreso (COFAMIPRO) considers it a priority and transversal to all its actions. Everyone in the organization, especially those who are in direct contact with children, play an important role in their protection.
The Child Protection Policy (PPI) presented here constitutes an essential element for the development of COFAMIPRO activities and will be updated periodically in order to protect the protection of each child and adolescent (NNA). It is an important tool for protection, prevention and risk minimization. Its compliance is mandatory.
.
The PPI includes both those behaviors that are considered appropriate for the well-being of children and adolescents as well as those that are judged as inappropriate and could motivate an investigation and possible application of disciplinary measures to those who do not comply with the security protocols. Describing desirable and unacceptable conduct provides a framework of behavior that protects members, employees, and others associated with the organization from unfounded accusations. For those conducts constituting a crime, in addition to applying the action protocol and internal disciplinary regime, the competent authorities will be informed of the fact.
.
COFAMIPRO expects from the people linked to the organization a personal commitment to the protection of children and identification with values, so this PPI must be respected during working hours and outside of it.
